                  <cdwalite:descriptiveNote>U master radu, pod naslovom Hindemitov pristup formi i tonalnom jeziku u tri 
klavirske sonate, istražen je kompozitorski jezik i pristup klasičarskim formalnim 
tendencijama kod njemačkog kompozitora XX vijeka, Paula Hindemita. Analizirane su tri 
klavirske sonate koje su napisane iste godine, 1936. Hindemitov harmonski jezik odlikuju 
proširena tonalnost i „viještački“ građeni tonski nizovi. S toga se kao najbolja alatka pri 
analitičkom sagledavanju Hindemitove muzike svakako nameće princip određenja tonskih 
centara upravo pomoću Hindemitove teorije o harmoniji. Oslonac na određenje tonskih 
centara je od velikog značaja za dalja promišljanja u oblasti muzičke forme, sagledavanje 
formalnih obrazaca, te odnosa dijelova i odsjeka unutar forme. 
 Ipak, poimanje forme zahtjeva određena razgrničenja unutar muzičkog toka. U toku 
analize Hindemitovih klavirskih sonata evidentirano je da pojedine granice imaju izrazito 
funkcionalan slijed sazvučja sa jasno definisanim tonskim centrom (akordski tip kadence 
blizak tonalnim postulatima), a isto tako postoje i granice koje se opiru bilo kakvom pokušaju 
klasifikacije i kategorizacije naspram nama poznatih završetaka u tonalnoj muzici (linearni 
vid završetka). 
Primarni cilj je prikazati tretman forme u klavirskim sonatama Hindemita, koje se 
uveliko oslanjaju na tradicionalne postulate formalnih obrazaca iz klasicizma. U tom pogledu 
evidentirani su formalni obrasci, kako što su sonatni oblik, oblik pjesme, rondo i fugato sa 
fokusom na odnose dijelova i odsjeka koji čine novu, Hindemitovu praksu u tretmanu 
formalnih postupaka. Dijelovi i odsjeci primarno i dalje počivaju na konceptu muzičke 
rečenice, njene integracije primarno u period i dezintegracije u fragmentarnu strukturu.</cdwalite:descriptiveNote>
