                  <cdwalite:descriptiveNote>Polazeći od pretpostavke da je teritorij USK samo dio Bosne i Hercegovine, zemlje koja je u razvoju poslije ratnih i ekonomskih kriza, kao i razvoju u domenu naučnih i tehnoloških inovacija, a uzimajući u obzir srednje stručne škole i engleski kao jezik struke tog zanimanja, radom se nastoji ukazati na trenutno stanje nastave engleskog jezika u srednjim stručnim školama, na metode koje se primjenjuju, kao i na potrebu za modernizacijom nastave i stručnim usavršavanjem profesora. U radu su se teoretskom obradom istraţile tradicionalne metode, savremeni i alternativni pristupi u podučavanju, zatim su uraĎene ankete sa 21 profesorom i 192 učenika u srednjim stručnim školama na teritoriji USK, te se u sklopu istraţivanja i dobijanja relevantnih rezultata odrţao i instruktivni čas u dva različita tehnička odjeljenja trećih (III) razreda (ukupno 44 učenika) u jednoj od pomenutih škola. Podučavanje vokabulara u srednjim stručnim školama pored općeg vokabulara podrazumijeva i podučavanje vokabulara u sklopu struke koja se izučava, što nas dovodi do podučavanja ESP-a koji predstavlja poseban oblik podučavanja jezika, iz čega već moţemo zaključiti da se NPP, metode rada i materijal potreban za obradu trebaju prilagoditi struci, a opet biti u skladu sa naučnim i tehnološkim razvojem u svijetu.
